Could I take pictures underwater with a Digital camera this way?
If I put my regular, Waterproof Camera Photo not in a ziplock bag [etc.] and put it in another ziplock bag, would it stay waterproof? I know the photo or video is blurry but the camera are likely to be damaged? i put salt in a ziplock bag [only one] and put it in a bucket of water and it does get wet. what do you think?
The best way to do this is to use OEM sealed envelopes. There are alternatives available envelopes which are sometimes a fraction of the cost, but at least there is a sense of Security with a brand name behind you. That said, if neither of these options are available for and you must use a ziplock, knowing the possible risks involved. You get people (people who respect their equipment) who tell you to buy waterproof Cameras, housings, and so on and maybe some adventurous who tell you to go (people who probably never made such a thing, but would be happy to see you do). It is ultimately your decision, nobody can guarantee it will work. If you do, take precautions necessary. For example, push all the air bags (water pressure may force the air because of seal failure and leakage). Also, place a thin strip of brown paper or similar, either a towel or paper bag, between the first and second bag. If water leaks into the first bag that will serve as an indicator. For "Best" results, try if you have access to them use condoms. It sounds silly but it works.
