Is there any way to fix a Digital camera that is water damaged?
Cyber-Shot, a new Digital Camera that was a stupid idea, I took a few photos down by the lake on a windy day. I had it on a tripod after couple photos i was like well I better be out of the water before i mess everything up .. but too late. A gust of wind blew my tripod was in the lake i opened his hand trying to save him, but my camera was all ready in the lake. Any help or advice? thanks
Do not try to Turn It On! It is completely fried. One remedy is to keep the house the sick in a bag of rice a couple of days. The rice could help absorb moisture. Leave out in the sun for a bit to help evaporate any water. Then paste the dryer on it. When your list, see if it works. MAKE SURE YOU ARE POSITIVE THE WATER IS ALMOST OUT! Oh yeah, Take the battery out and stuff then do all those things. My partner fell in the toilet last year, I took everything off and blow dried. Had some problems, but still worked.
