How does an automatic flash on a Vivitar V3800N effect on pictures taken in B & W?
I'm obviously a beginner, and I was wondering whether to make a flash car "with a kit vivitar 35mm slr manual V3800n with a target of 28-70mm would be useful with b & w. let me know, thank you!
Buy a Vivitar 283 or 285 with the flash off Camera remote sensor and the holder designed for this purpose. You'll have plenty of control – 4-way auto + manual. See bhphotovideo.com or adorama.com or keh.com or eBay. I'm still using a 283 I bought new in February of 1976. Yes, a year 32. old flash still going strong. In fact, I used it last November with my 30 years. old Minolta XG-9 to the photograph of my daughter 30. birthday party.
