How I can get a video tape in a video camera to my laptop?
I have a lot of random stuff recorded on my camera video and just want to get the last like 30 minutes. Is there an easy cheap way to get the tape in the video camer to my computer?
Assuming you have a MiniDV or Digital8 Camcorder can capture video via firewire. If your laptop has not been achieved since you have to install a Firewire card. They are inexpensive, easy to install and easy to get, but be sure to check if your laptop uses PCMCIA or Express Card. You also need a firewire cable. – Using Windows Movie Maker can select which parts of the tape you want to make sure you start capturing a few seconds before the bit you want and finish few seconds later.
