I'm starting my own company, Digital video production and the need to buy a camera.?
I recently moved from Los Angeles to Richmond, VA and Los Angeles there are many local places to rent video equipment to give you an idea of the equipment before committing to buying one. No video camera rental locally for me in Richmond, so does anyone have any suggestions on a good reliable camera for video sessions. Be used for video production musical montages for weddings, corporate videos, surf videos, etc.
If standard definition is good for you, I'd recommend for DVX100A its flexibility and relative accessibility. It has a "film-look" when in 24p mode, and has several controls CineGamma / presets for controlling the contrary, the level black, knee and color density.
