Which HD Camcorder would you recommend to an aspiring filmmaker?
I want to enter the film industry and I'm already an experience in producing videos for school. I totally learned Sony Vegas and have some experience on the camera and direct, but I need to step up and buy a good Hd Camera under $ 2000. All recommendations, and why you recommend it? I appreciate all the answers, and I'll choose best answer. Thank you!
For less than $ 2,000, unless you go the eBay route you do get a good Camcorder HD. That is the reason that "good" 3CCD Camcorders use to produce excellent color reproduction and clarity. Any Hd Camcorder under $ 2000 will not have 3 CCDs. I would recommend instead that you get a good Sd Camera like the GL2 for 1800 and wait for the HD wars to end and then buy a camcorder HD, and Nice. The GL2 is a camera SD exceptional, much more professional and more characteristics of the film as a manual focus ring and aperture and Shutter speed filling a pew (relatively) consumer HD camcorder just are. The cheapest HD 3CCD camcorder that is by the way is Sony HDR-FX1, which ranges from about $ 3000. Personally own a XL2 and GL2 who used the lot, you'll be happier with the GL2. Now is the right moment to jump into the HD game. Wait things to settle and get prepared for bugs.
