Is the Sony-SLT-A33L a Good Camera for me? Im a beginner and want HD video to record my music?
I am a Beginner and want to rec HD video of my covers as im a guitarist so there is an overdriven sound produced by the amp which the mono mic. of most DSLRs (Like Nikon D3100/Canon T1i) cant pick up without distorting so I want a DSLR that is in my range of about $700 and has ext. mic input and can rec. good HD video and has awesome pic. quality. The sony SLT-A33L has an ext. mic input and is HD. but I dont know about its pic. quality…. so im confused. Plz help.
P.S. I dont want a Camcorder bcz its pic. quality is horrible. Just want a gud DSLR
Well the Sony SLT A33 comes with a very sensor using new spiffy technology to let even more light unto the sensor, aka it has moved some of the electronics from the front to the back.. yeah!
It will offer very nice video quality yes and with the external mic and some handly converters you can use Pro Microphones!
Still to make a really good recording it helps to have good light. So wherever you are going to film your videos I do suggest that you do invest in light. Even if it is just raiding the local store for 5 table lamp holders and 20W saving bulbs [that replace a 100W] ..
Then yes you can make very nice music videos. Remember LIGHT IS THE KEY!
