Why do I have audio without video when I try to play my Video Camcorder?
I have a Samsung VP-D375W. I shot a short some clips directly onto the memory card. When i try to view the screen of the Camera, they work fine. However when i plug in my card, I get access to files (avi) and I can hear but not see them. I am using the VLC player, have the DivX Pro codec and the K-Lite Codec Pack. I tried to open files with QuickTime, and I had the same problem
Sounds like a problem codec, but I can not find what your camcorder uses to record on the card. You can use GSpot to determine which codec you need.
