Zip lock bag is not only likely to be leak-proof enough for complete immersion. Two or three could be. However, while perhaps would give adequate protection for transportation, not having a decent picture through it. An underwater housing specifically matches your camera model is the best. If no, there are some general purposes that are a kind of zip lock bags-super-duper with an optical glass port give a clear picture decently. Two vendors that I know with this sort of thing is adorama.com and bhphoto.com. Search housing sites under water.
