yes it is possible but you need to buy a converter 8mm Digital Cameras are analogue and digital computers are of course no doubt your camera has RCA outputs that connect to the converter, which then connects via USB port.you will capture using video editing software, but be aware of the quality is not so good, but at least you can burn them CD / DVD. hope this helps.
