Who designed the speed camera in the first place?
Who designed the first speed camera and how radar Really Work?
Gatsometer BV Dutch company, founded by rally driver Maurice Gatsonides 1950, invented the first road rule enforcement Cameras. Gatsonides want better control your speed around the corners of a race track and came with the device in order to improve his time in the circuit [2]. The company developed the first radar for use with road traffic, and is the world's largest supplier of speed camera. Because of this, in some countries for all brands speed cameras are sometimes generically referred to as "GATS." It is also sometimes known as "photo radar", even though many they do not use the radar. The first systems introduced in the 1960s used Film Cameras to take pictures. Since late 1990, Digital cameras began to be introduced. Digital Cameras can be equipped with a modem or an electronic interface to transfer images to a central processing location automatically, so they have advantages over film cameras in speed of issuing fines and operational monitoring. However, systems based on the film, they still provide superior image quality in variety of lighting conditions encountered on roads, lack of pixelation and some jurisdictions required by the courts (because of the ease with which digital images can be modified. The new systems based on the film-still being sold but the images Digital are providing greater versatility (* not quality), due to the ease of data transmission.
