ROV small Waterproof Camera?
I put a parts list for a house underwater ROV and I was wondering if anyone knows of a halfway decent ones Waterproof Video Camera (web-cam Camcorder not think) that I'd be able to get into a rugged exterior pressure? I was to go around, but most Cameras of this type you recommend are quite large and quite expensive. Using USB for what you want does not appear to be a good idea – unless you make the cable very short … http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usb # Maximum_useful_distance I think you would be much better with an analog, Closed Circuit Television, security / Surveillance Camera where the video / power cable may be hundreds of feet long. This would plug into an analog / Digital converter that plugs your computer. in Best if your computer has a firewire port and your A / D converter uses this interface – those of Canopus. like your biggest problem will be to ensure sealing cable connections and … alleviating pressure.
