How can be an expensive SLR, while offering fewer features than a non-SLR?
I see non-SLR offers HD Video Recording (with stereo), 15X optical zoom, 7h battery life, lightweight, Compact, …….. etc., less than half the Price of entry-level SLR. I am interested photography, and thought to get into the SLR. But when I check the features of Cameras, I am surprised by the options available with non-SLR. Can anyone let me know the advantages of SLR over non-SLR? And, Can anyone let me know the reason for the huge difference Price?
I'll just list three reasons why a DSLR is superior to a non-SLR, there are more -. 1, image sensor size a point and shoot has an image sensor (the thing that captures the image) the size of the nail of a finger. An SLR has a size of the five nails. Bigger sensor = better image quality. 2. Lens quality – a basic reflex will have a better goal than the average point and shoot. The best sensor does not matter if the image quality coming through the lens is less. 3. Electronics – All Digital cameras have a computer inside. The SLR has a better computer. This is important because we need the improvement of the image to come through a better lens, captured by the sensor bigger picture, and it results in a better picture.
