Should I take my digital camera to Hershey Park or buy a disposable one?
princess asked:
Going to Hershey Park in a few days and am wondering if taking my digital camera would be risky. Where do people usually keep their camera’s when going on rides? Also, should I try the water rides first and then the dry rides or vice versa? Should I keep my clothing in a locker or in the car? Just looking for advice from people who have been to Hershey Park. Thanks.

Unless you have someone that can hold your camera while you are on the rides…i would take a disposable one. If you don’t like getting on water rides or roller coasters…then it might not be a problem…just consider what all you are going to be doing there…and take it from there…

I’d take the digital- in a zip-loc bag.We just put ours in a pants pocket , or you could attach it to a lanyard around your neck. Are you worried about it getting wet, lost or broken? There are lockers there,(I think it’s only a buck for all day)We always rent one for our extra set of clothes. Disposable cameras have bad resolution compared to the digitals. Unless you spent too much money on your camera to ever replace it again I would say take it.

Whats the point in havning a digital camera if your not gonna use it?

keep things in a locker as it is not unusual for cars to be broken into, i think it is best you bring your digital camera because you will know how to use it to obtain the best shots, and lets face it, disposable cameras are ****. You give your camera to friends when going on the rides, everyone knows that. Go for the dry rides first otherwise it is uncomfortable later.
Hope this helps
