I have a Canon SD 1000, I worked with photo ID for a lifetime. What camera settings will work best?
Camera: Canon SD 1000 Due to my work I take pictures of the photo ID (driver's license, state identification cards, identity cards school, etc.) to keep on file. Does anyone know what the parameters are better on this camera. 9 times out of 10 photos are taken inside.
The key is to light (no pun intended), no parameters. Are you using multiple flashes? I guess not you want a good depth field, but on a point and shoot Cameras, you do not have to worry too much about it. If you want plans that are consistent, then shoot in manual mode. You should be able to choose a pretty wide aperture (low number). F/2.8 – F / 4 should be good Shutter ISO. Speed should be fast enough, but not at the expense of very high. Keep the ISO from 100 to 200 of good results. The shutter speed should not drop below 1/60th for the good sharp images. Better still around 1/100th -. 1/200th working on lighting, see if you can display your flash (if you use it).
