buying a Digital camera?
DEAR SIR CAN I ask you to guide me … Please sir, I want buy a Digital Camera that is tough and durable MAY BE USED FOR THE NEXT 10 years Leste and I can do OK REASONABLY video or film .. My budget is 10000 to RS 13000 and RS should be available in India AND THANK YOU IN REGARDS SANDEEP PATWAL
Technology changes quickly, so just after 5 years you can find your camera model and its functions obsolete. Apart from this, if you take good care, you can expect a lifespan of 10 years from your camera. Anyway, you seem to have a good budget. Cannon, Nikon, Sony, etc. all have good Cameras in this budget. But I recommend Pentax far as sustainability is concerned. However, I doubt its availability in India. You can also opt for Olympus. Make sure your device has 8 mega pixels (it's more than enough for home use) and high optical zoom (at least 10x). Also, look for manual controls on the opening ISO, Shutter speed, etc.
