I am looking for a semi-professional or Professional Video Camera for under $ 2000 – $ 2500, suggestions?
All suggestions on a good? I was kind of thinking about the Sony VX 2100.
New? The list is fairly short: Standard. GL2 definition.: High Canon definition Sony HDR-HD1000 Camcorder HDR-FX7, HVR-A1U. The Sony DCR-VX2100 has not been manufactured for many years. From the foregoing, I would probably go with the HDR-FX7. In both cases, they are all based miniDV tape and your computer must have a firewire port. USB transfer the video does not work. USB-to-FireWire / thiggs converter / adapter does not work.
