If you have a dsc H2 Digital camera Sony does make a constant hissing / crackling?
I have a Sony DSC H2 Digital Camera I just started to use. I noticed a noise from the camera whenever it is on. When you hold to your ear, it sounds like a hiss, crackle. I called Sony and they said that this was not normal and I should send it I sent it to Precision Camera (service contractor authorized factory) and they returned without doing anything. Now, I noticed that batteries down very quickly, within 50 pictures without flash. If you have the same device, please turn it on and listen and let me know if it makes the noise level low at all times. I also think the focus is difficult to adjust – some of my photos are slightly short. The background is also very noticeable on videos that I take with this camera.
You should always send a digital camera to the Maker repairs! It is their design, and they have all the right things to check every detail, esp circuit boards and chips in it. Repair center authorized does not have all this information. They just have to be corrected quickly and leave you. If they did something wrong notice, they say "error User "and send Sony a bill for a fixed amount and boom, they r done, easy money! Send Sony, and write in detail what you notice and the problem you encounter, and about the conversation you had with them, and the bad service that you had another Camera Shop photo. This is one reason I suggest Canon Cameras to my friends and family, as their CS is wonderful and they stand behind 110%. Happy Shooting
