How to remove red eye and light circles of the eyes in a digital photo?
I took a picture in a large family gathering with a size digital camera pocket. Everyone in the picture has red eyes, some have a bright spot in the center of their eyes, and some people wearing glasses have a reflection of what your eyes can not see everyone. I want to print this and give my grandfather (who is in his 90's), but I like to fix these problems. I downloaded the latest version of GIMP and tried the red eye reduction, but only works with a few people. I've read some tutorials, but the problem is that we are all standing far away and when caught in the eye you see a bunch of pixels. I do not quite understand what the layers are and how to work with them, so that these lessons are lost on me. I'm thinking of getting photoshop but that is supposed to be even more complicated.
