How I can connect my (Hi8) video camera Samsung to my computer to save the videos on my pc?
the camera is a (2004 I) Samsung, which has Hi8 tapes, with a 880x Digital zoom. I had assumed the camera easily load my pc, but it has so far. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
if your camera does not have IEEE 1394 (FireWire), you need to run it through a Camcorder that does, like a video camera mini-DV, for example. so, you need an S-video and two audio adapters cables so you can connect video Cameras together. if you have a camera mini-DV video for use as an analog to digital Hi8 Camcorder, I think a lot of people rely on programs like Pinnacle to work.
