Which is a better water proof Digital camera Sony DSC-TX5 vs. Panasonic DMC-TS2?
im going holiday soon so I need a camera tight, but I need to know which device has better video and photos underwater?
The Sony is waterproof to 3m, which means if you drop it in a puddle of water probably will not leak, but I would not trust it or even snorkeling in a pool, a strike against the side and it will almost certainly against flooding. Panasonic, on the other hand is estimated at 10 m which means that he must stand with the impactor in the pool or snorkeling. As for what has the better image quality thats a bit more subjective. Technically, the Panasonic has a better range of parameters, more optical zoom, more resolution etc, but they are not the alpha and omega to take decent photos. Neither has a submarine in dedicated mode, but based on their Ratings of depth that really isn't a surprise. Based solely on its depth rating and other spec I'd go Panasonic.
