are the views and comments on Olympus digital cameras right?

I'm thinking of buying a Digital Camera Olympus. Either the FE or series pencil. After reading Reviews that made me think twice. Comments Many say that the picture quality mainly Olympus FE-230 and 725/770 pen are a disappoinment. Can anyone help me here ..?

This link may help you decide. The only thing deterring me is the weak cards Olympus xD. SD cards have become the standard for most automatic cameras.
