corner of the Viewfinder on my Minolta Maxxum 7000 are blackened. Why?
I bought this unit for about $ 5 without a lens in a store thrift. Everything, including the AF works very well. But when I look in my viewfinder with the lens attached I see is a circle square. The corners are covered with earth or something. When the lens is not fixed on the spot is there. I tried to clean what I can see, but without success. Just see if anyone had any idea what the problem is and or how to fix.
It appears you're using the wrong hood on your lens. If you have a 24mm or 28mm or even a 35mm lens with a hood for a 50mm lens, then the cover will interfere and cause dark corners is called vignetting. The problem could also be caused by using a lens designed for Slr Camera Minolta (5D/7D)
