Is there a service that will allow me to put my video online to share with family and friends?
I have a Mini DVD Video Camera, and I use DVD-R mini discs. I took a video last night (it is approximately 30 minutes) that I want to upload somewhere so that the family in Europe can see. Is their a service (such as Snapfish, etc.) that lets me download this video. I would prefer a free service.
There a hundreds of sites file sharing here – just a chance even your ISP will have some "vault" facility ". Commercial Web Sites: Rapidshare.com Depositfiles.com Filefactory.com Megaupload.com etc etc. Many allow free downloads in any format you choose. However, they will be deleted after a period of time given, or the lack of activity. In your case, that may not be a problem. Some have limits on the size of individual files (100 MB) so you may need to divide your video into pieces. Several programs available to do so. HJSplit is probably easier to use, or WinRAR, etc. etc. You (U) for tube tubes who want to watch flv files blurred the size of a postcard.
