Microphone problem laptop?
I have a Toshiba Satellite A210-215 (I think) and comes with an integrated webcam and microphone. The webcam installed Chicony Camera Assistant software, works fine, but the voice recording feature does not work. When I click the Record button, it shows that recording with the red flashing light, but when I click to stop recording, it says there is "No MCI device open" despite you have configured the microphone. The microphone is in Bult-sided 1.3M webcam. Could someone please help me? I'd really appreciate it. It worked before, but I guess when I started to voice recognition, work took over. The only other thing running that is using my webcam to my knowledge, is Windows Live Messenger.
Not using the internal webcam, theyre always crap, no matter what the manufacturer has. The only exception is Apple, just get a Logitech QuickCam or Microsoft LifeCam. The only other solution is maybe to go on the Toshiba website and download the drivers for the A210-215
