Is it possible to connect a wireless router to a wired router?
I have a 2wire DSL modem with 4 Ethernet ports and Wi-Fi I have connected a NAS, a network printer and a computer to the router, but now I want to get a little farther! The wireless signal is not strong enough cover the area throughout the house, frontyard neither where I want to put a D-link Wireless Security Camera. I do not what to use a high gain antenna and I want to know if it is possible to connect a Linksys wireless router to the ADSL modem and a router 2Wire. I heard that it is possible to disable DHCP, does it work?
I would try a Wireless Access Point first, that perhaps the easiest way to go. I have a plugged to a hub that is connected to the router, and it does what I need to. Belkin makes one, do not know who else out there do.
