I bought one last camera, but I'm a little confused between a digital and a handycam.?
My use is limited to personal only.also models suggest purchase if possible.
"Handycam" is the brand name Sony video Cameras. All modern Digital Cameras are independently whether it is being recorded on tape, DVD, hard drive or card. Sony, Canon, JVC and Panasonic, are good cameras. I do a lot of editing, so I like MiniDV by video quality (plus they are cheap!). DVD Camcorders are best avoided.
