Genius USB Webcam VideoLook wont work on the new computer, HELP!??
I just bought a new computer with Vista, and even if the webcam is mean't to work on the new operating system, it will not. I installed the CD drivers and then plugged the camera several times and tried the USB drivers off the internet. I can not find more information. If someone could give me a step by step guide for setting or make it work, it would be great! x
Which version of Vista that came with your computer and what version of driver the webcam you have installed? You must ensure that the driver of the webcam is also the type of Vista you have on your system one of the biggest problems Vista is just that many manufactureres do not make fast enough drivers for this operating system from Microsoft. Check if the cam works on other computers and then if you really want to use your webcam, then you may have to downgrade your system to use XP so your camera can operate.
