Camera is capable of HD video, but the films just 10 seconds … Why is this?
I have an Olympus FE-340 and I love taking videos of random things. I recently found an environment where you can change the video quality. I can not remember what the setting is, but either way, once you change it, only allows the film 10 seconds and then stops. You can have a group of 10 videos seconds. Not that the card is full or the battery is dead. I'm not sure why you do it?
Sorry Dark Lady, but the FE-340 is limited to 10 seconds in VGA mode. Most Cameras SD Card based are limited by the speed of the memory card and if you use a slow card, movie clips are limited to the internal buffer memory. FE-340 uses your cards xD they are notoriously slow, as slow as the slowest SD card so movies are limited to the FE-340's 48MB of internal memory. You may be able to shoot clips increased duration to 15 fps at 320×240 or 15 or 30 fps and is not limited to 10 seconds.
