What is a digital Photography Camera good for under $ 500.?
I've been in photography since about 2 years and I used a Canon EOS Rebel K2 Canon. I want to go to a nice Hd Camera and gives a good depth for the pictures. You Any suggestions? Less than 5 DSLRs $ 500 written by Eric, November 13, 2007 | 4 Comments Just in time for the holidays, here are five great Digital Slr (with lens kit) for under $ 500: 1. Canon Rebel XT – The Rebel XT was my first digtal Slr Camera. I bought it shortly after it became available in 2005 for $ 1,000 (a Rebel XT is $ 499 with a lens of November '07). I still use it on an almost daily basis. I turned around 25,000 – 30,000 pictures now. No hiccups yet. Anyway, I can personally attest to the reliability and image quality this camera packs. (Learn more about the Rebel XT here.) 2. Nikon D40 – I was using a Nikon D40 for a few months. I'm primarily a Canon user, but I wanted one of these Cameras to play with and see what Nikon had to offer. I am very pleased with the capabilities of my D40. The D40 is much lighter than any DSLR I've ever used, even the Canon Rebel. It is now $ 477. (Learn more about the Nikon D40 here.) 3. Pentax K100D – The K100D is compatible with all Pentax lenses ever produced. The body-in Shake Reduction (. Pdf file) means that you get image stabilization with all targets K-mount it. This is the only DSLR under $ 500 for it. The K100D also features a 2.5 "LCD screen, 11 point AF system 9 cross-type sensors, ISO 200-3200 and 16-segment multi-pattern measuring. All this at $ 449 is a sacred matter. (Read what the K100D here.) 4. Samsung GX-1S – The Samsung GX-1S is a 6.3 Megapixel Digital Slr Camera with world renowned Schneider optics and a high resolution 2.5 inch. The Digital SLR interchangeable lens was developed jointly with partner Pentax Corporation, which means it accepts K-mount AF lenses. The 441 million GX-1S is essentially a rebadged Pentax * ist DS2, which is fine for this Price. 5. Olympus E330 – The E330 is the first digital SLR Live View, which means that the LCD as a Viewfinder. You will not find this feature on any other digital SLR under $ 500 (the E330 is $ 450). The E330 LCD is "articulated" it can extend from the camera body and swivel downward or upward so that the E-330 can be stood up to pull a crowd, which was held in the hip or even placed on the ground for something that is not possible with a traditional SLR that relies on an optical viewfinder alone.
