Vegas Movie Studio Platinum only capture audio from my Panasonic Digital Video Camera.?

Vegas will capture the video and I can change all that I will, but the sound is not present on my computer. I am running Windows XP. Can anyone help me?

What Camcorder do you have? Not seeing the sound is sometimes a problem if the recorded video in the H.264 format.
