Is it possible to use a regular digital camera, as opposed to a web cam, video chat on AIM?

I a Sony Digital Video Camera Recorder model no. DCR-TRV460, and has USB streaming capabilities.

I wondered myself, but have not lucky to get the output function as a USB webcam. However, if you have a video input card on your computer (WinTV, All-in-Wonder Pro etc.), you can connect the analog (RCA) output from the camera in it and it works fine. This works for any camera (or VCR, for that matter), not just digital. Good luck.
