What is a digital Slr Camera lens to make good use of fireworks exploding in the night?
Note that I can not spend $ 5,000 for a lens. I just want to have some nice quality photos of fireworks. Will I need a flash of some sort or anything extra for this to work?
Many DSLR like my Olympus E-510, have a choice of fireworks. Place the camera on a tripod and select this option in the shooting and the camera does the hard work for you. Note that the Shutter must be open for longer when shooting fireworks regardless of the camera to get the images you are looking for. You will need a tripod and a clear vision of where no one walks in front of the camera. Fireworks mode is designed to achieve the best possible images. Unless you have the expertise to configure manually, I suggest you use. Also Use the night scene or set manually.
