What is the, average low and high choice for a Camera Shutter speed?
I love skiing and tubing, and when you arrive air, I want a digital camera that does not take a half a second to shoot, I want it right away. So give me choices for low-end med one end, and a camera that takes high quality images fast.
There are three aircraft performance issues to consider in the circumstances you describe. First, you want a camera that supports continuous auto-focus, where the camera will continue to adjust the focus as subject moves toward or away from the photographer. If auto-focus supports only one goal, a fast moving object out of focus could in the time it takes to trigger. Second, you want shutter lag as low as possible. Some shutter lag is due to self-focus, so if you speak, you will have some measure to reduce shutter lag as well. Third, you'll need a camera with a relatively high shutter speed if you want to stop the movement, especially if you want to be relatively close the subject. If you are nearby and the subject is fast, you may need to consider 1/1000s shutter speeds above. The last question is not on camera but the photographer, and skills development, not only the operation of the camera, but to select firing positions and angles that give your photos a little more edge.
