How is the video quality of Digital Video Cameras compared to the old analogue VHS or Hi-8 Video Cameras?
Initially bought a Sony Hi8 Handy Cam for higher resolution than those of the types of HSV. From Sony showed signs of death last October, we bought a Hitachi DVD Cam. Hitachi software works like a Digital Camera, but only 640 x 480 resolution. Photos of up to 12X optical zoom is fine, but the extension of zoom 240X digital magnification to produce distorted images. Video elsewhere depends on the maximum resolution of the CCD. If the CCD is rated at a low number of pixels, the image would be equivalent to a 640 X 480 PC. Rating Hiher CCD pixels are better, regardless of the recording media. Analog cameras have typically had good color and white balance when set to Auto. Digital Cameras (according to my research) has problems in this area unless that is a very expensive "professional" camera. I have not had the opportunity to use the New Video Camera so far, but the rate at 8-1/5 comments 10. Please note the Price. Digital or analog meet Cassette Tape is a good choice for those who like to record up to two hours without changing mini DVD discs and are less susceptible to damage from the media. New digital cameras with hard disk drivers are a good alternative to DVD disk cameras. Just more expensive. In all items I've read so far, the video quality seems to be the best analog tape cassettes folloewd for digital cameras that have CCD has large pixels. Digital Cameras do not know if Mini Cassette recorded in high definition or wide-format screen, but most of all DVD and HDD cameras record in both in widescreen format and conventional. I recommend doing as much research as possible before deciding on the camera that you would like to purchase. There are several web sites and journals that publish comments and give specific details. Knowledge is priceless.
