dental video camera
Question on the video camera in my dental office. Can patients sue and ask to see the recorded video?
I am a new dentist graduate, currently building my dental office. I want to install Security Cameras in the office (not hidden) And also in the waiting room. I know I can always return to see the videos and if there was an incident, but let's say a patient is and demand for no reason, I am charged with any crime, not havin evidence. Obviously, if he / she has no evidence, and there were no cameras in the office, the case was dismissed, but I can ask the court or the judge asks to Review videos recorded in my office? I wonder, because then I do not want my time getting drunk in the case of suing people for no reason, and then the judge asks you to check the videos each time, losing precious time. Thanks for responding. I live in Los Angeles, CA on the road.
Being a dentist, I see no privacy issue in a MD office. Patients in a dental office do not have to undress. People steal a lot of RD offices and the camera are good.
