Is it ok for a teacher to capture and carry a child?

My son is 4 weeks in kindergarten and he was suspended for two days yesterday to strike and hit a teacher. It is not an angel and has ADHD, but he does great with regular faculty. It was on the playing field and not the first time he was a problem with this teacher. He bopped another child on the playground and the teacher told him to come to her. He knew he was in trouble and ran away from her. She hunted down, and when she grabbed it and started hitting his shot. She then picked him up and took him to school Prinicipal's office. Now I am not defending the behavior of my child, it is not acceptable for him to hit and run to the teacher. But I wondered if it was provoked and if the teacher is authorized to seize and carry him. Also, I noticed there are video Cameras outside the school at recess. Would I be out of line to ask to see the video?

I was a kindergarten out of control. What do you think it should have done? Kept chasing him until he tired and had to stop? Dragged him? Left him there? Waited, hoping to have the respect? I think if you asked see the band with your son so he can see exactly what happened and spoke again, that would be good. To ask to see it because you are suspect a teacher who has actually done nothing wrong (and I'm confused as to why you even think it's wrong – it did not hit him, push him, give him a spanking or something like that) is going too far.
