Need help asap with new Cctv Camera…?
Our old cctv camera died yesterday(well the led’s did) .We purchased a new one today a Nikkai Colour powerful Flood security camera from maplins. Fitted this camera hooked it all up picture was fab.
Then tonight the IR kicked in and although the picture is good it is rolling ,like the tracking out on an old video.I have tried it on a different tv and get the same problem.
Anyone got any ideas please.

Hi I have the power supply that was supplied new with the camera, I have checked it is the correct one for the camera.
Get a new power supply with high AMPs (2 AMPs or higher with same voltage rating – typically 12 volts DC) for the camera. It sounds like the camera is not getting enough power. LED’s eat up a lot of juice. Higher AMPs will not harm the camera, but the wrong voltage will fry the camera. Take a look at the link below for an example.
Edit: I would still try another power supply to see what happens. I have seen plenty of power supplies that are bundled with the camera that are bad or of sub par quality. If it is not a power supply issue, then you might have a bad camera.
