A CCTV Night Vision Camera can see in the dark if looking through a window?
I unfortunately live in an area where I have to have CCTV at home, but to mount Cameras on the outside will be attacked by vandals. So if I can buy cameras Night Vision LEDs and mount them inside the windows where they are safe, will the vision of the night yet?
Yes it should work perfectly well, but as others have said LEDs are limited in scope and glass could cut it a little, especially if your color or for example, another problem to consider is that most of the time the Infra-red LED are reflected in the glass as visible light and shine it back into the chamber by CCTV a bright spot that can blind the camera, you may need to experiment with fishing, so it does not reflect back.
