Canon MV630i Mini DV Digital Camcorder Usb Camera – download movies to computer?
I have the anterior chamber and I'm wanting transfer my movies to the same compupter. I've had for a long 4 years. I recenlty brought this cable on ebay for that so that I could trasnfer movies. "4.4 pin i.Link / FireWire / IEEE 1394/DV for Sony Canon JVC. "(link below) that have software that came with the camera to transfer the movies, but when I plug the cable in my fireport (built into my laptop Asus) do not find the camera. Any suggestions on how I can transfer things that have been filmed on my recorder cam (with tapes) to my computer is very pleased to have expanded the "Expanding the bus of IEEE 1394 Host Controller" and then reinstall = but no camera found. I am using Windows Movie Maker but not the fine from the camera. Please help someone!
you need to turn the camera and make sure it is in VCR or VTR mode. This would allow the computer recognizes it as a tape drive, and then you can import your tape.
