Formatting the memory card on the camera?
I just got a brand new Digital camera (Canon Powershot S5 IS) I already took some pictures. The problem is that I came across many sites that say you have to format the memory card before taking photos, if I want to know if I can format it after taking a few? Or should I delete the files, then format it? I do not care about the photos I considers that his point OK if they get erased.
Yes, you can format the card, even after a single image. The reason is that the images be deleted one by one is tedious and could ruin the card.
