Camcorders: Canon GL2 vs. small HD Camera?
I'm looking for a Video Camera that has a great image. Let me know if The Canon GL2 is better than smaller, portable high definition Cameras … or HD Video Cameras, in fact, the production of a best image. and … I want to know why one is better than the other.
It depends what you want to use the camera. "Best" is a term relative. The GL2 is still considered prosumer (or low-end pro) Camcorder. Manual controls – focus, zoom, iris, audio level control, white balance, among others – are more readily available. The goal of much larger size and image chips (compared with smaller lenses and sensors image used by the consumer cams – whether HD or not) do a much better job in low light. The target depth makes it easier application field. The integrated "handle" facilitates / stable "run and shoot" video. If the capture of an Hdv Camera and a tripod GL2 used in a next to each other under ideal light, yes, the consumer HDV camera will provide a clearer video image more – after all, capture HDV Four times more DV video.
