Canon EOS 450D advice please.?
I recently purchased the above camera that comes with the 18-55mm standard lens. I'm going on vacation to Canada later this year and I would like some advice on what lens / i accessories may be necessary for me to take good pictures (of the Rocky Mountains and hopefully some wildlife etc.). I've seen a lens on Amazon UK, which is a Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS Telephoto Zoom AF Lens for Selected Digital Slr, this goal is something good / right? I do not want to spend a fortune on a target and I'm just an amateur! How far is the distance and still zoom lens give clear images? (For example, when I saw an animal from 150 yards away that captures the moment)? I am completely new digital slr world together, so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
Well first some accessories. Youl want an umbrella if your doing landscape photography, especially if the use of a lens lower end. This keeps the brightness of the lens. You will need a tripod if you're doing landscapes. This is because reqire landscapes using a high f-stop number (f/16 of/22), this means that the hole size of the lens is smaller, allowing less light, this then means you need to use a speed slow Shutter to compensate, and if labor can cause blurred images. last thing you want a remote trigger. This is an external trigger device that connects on one side of the camera, and allows you to press the shutter button or remote control, not the camera, reducing blur. This is also good if you want a picture of landscape of stars. Set the camera to bulb mode, and hold the shutter button OUTDOOR about 1min. This means no blur and a glossy photograph night.
