Clean my camera lens, best lens cleaner, wet or dry? etc?
I have a Sony DSC-P200, the lens is dirty and needs to be cleaned. Since it is a small lens, I was wondering what to use it, any recommendations or advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
First Instead, NEVER, NEVER use alcohol or Windex on your goal. Avoid using nothing more than a lens cloth or tissue and fluid for cleaning the lens. Look under "Care and Cleaning your camera's manual. Both laurabristow5 Dawg and gave very good answers. I used a Pentax lens cleaning cloth or Photosilk for many years. I have not used any liquid though. If there is an adapter that allows the use of filters with your camera, buy it and a skylight or UV Haze / filter and used to protect the lens from dirt, fingerprints, etc.
