Ok, so I buy HDV or DV tapes regular tapes for my Canon HV30 HD camcorder?
I know this is a controversial subject online, but has anyone done a comparison A / B and have seen significant differences between the two? any suggestions greatly appreciated! =]
HDV tapes are made at a higher level high, but not affect the reliability of video quality. HDV uses a group of pictures (GOP) coding style – if you lose a frame in GOP lost the entire Republican Party. That means that, although reduced in a framework of MiniDV will cost 1.25 or 1/30th second, HDV will cost 2.1 sec.
