How important is optical zoom and Digital Video Camera? It is 35x optical and 1200x digital enough?
Zoom optical is good. Digital zoom is not usually a good idea. 35X optical zoom range is very high. If you can afford it, go for it. Note that in this increase, or better would be able to hold the camera very still or have some sort of image stabilization.
