Is it better to go for a camera or for a camcoder ? I’m really ignorant about Cameras.

What type of videos are you going for? Most digital point and shoot cameras today will give you video with stereo sound, but it (of course) wouldn’t be nearly as good as a dedicated Camcorder. So, the following questions exist:
1) Budget?
2) Quality of videos needed? (specifics like resolution would be nice if you have an idea)
Most point-and-shoots today would record video that would be just fine for a webpage, so if that’s what you’re looking for, post your budget and any other requirements (number of megapixels, zoom desired, etc), and that will help us narrow down your requirements.
