I just got a New Camera and I want to do stuff cool with it. what is the best editing software. for things like making a lightsaber look real or things like a bullet (not editing actual) out of a firearm. thank you
If you're looking to do "bullet time" effects like The Matrix, I do not know how this can be done on amateur budget. For light sabers, muzzle flashes etc. I take a look at Illusions particles. This is a package of effects if not a full editor. My favorite is Sony Vegas Movie Studio. You must be comfortable with editing before starting to enter in special effects that – regardless of what he says in the ad, it takes a little practice.
