What is the best compact Digital Camera in December 2008?
Hello, I'm looking for a compact digital camera wide angle (<28 mm) range and 10x optical zoom or greater. Yet I also want to make good HD video. It is not important that is over 9 megapixels. I also prefer a rechargeable lithium battery as opposed to A4. The budget is $ 450 circa. In addition, image stabilization could be useful. Suggestions? I thought a Panasonic DMC TZ5. Thank you all:)
Without a doubt, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3. The optical quality of the is absolutely incredible. Especially for it being a point and shoot. Do not even think about it, just search. That's about $ 400 on Amazon. But thats a steal account I bought my Canon G9 for a few months earlier over $ 500. And the LX3 is a camera quality much more than my G9. And I love my G9! But I do wish I could have waited and got the LX3. Doh! If the Price drops any more, I'll have to make an excuse to get one.
