How I can watch old tapes, 8 mm Camera without the camera?
Is there a device to buy to see the old 8mm Camera tapes video? My camera was broken that used to play and apparently did not make it. There are plenty of old home videos on them, and I'd be able to maintain in some way, DVD, VHS, whatever … Is there a way to do this without the camcorder? A device to buy? Thanks! I would appreciate!
There is no "8mm tape drive." The facility would be by an 8 mm camera … used – somewhere. If you go this route, also suggest getting an "analog / Digital bridge" like those from Pinnacle (Dazzle) or Canopus so you can transfer video to a computer and stored on a hard drive or optical disc.
